Hello and welcome!

Thank you for coming to take a look. My name is Steve and I live on Shooters Hill. I moved here with my family in 2022 having previously lived in various areas in SE London for the past 20+ years.

I built this site as a community space for the local area and beyond after being inspired by the East Dulwich Forum, which is a fantastic space for local chat, shared knowledge, recommendations and classifieds. I really appreciated that site for existing outside the large American, ad-heavy, algorithm-driven behemoths that have monopolised social interactions online, so I hope to do the same for our corner of London!

It is a personal project I maintain in my spare time and am constantly building on — an events calendar with user-submitted events is coming in the next phase.
